Terms & Conditions
1. The hire period for any piece of equipment commences from the day that it is either collected or delivered from an Able Rehab location, and continues until the day on which it is returned.
2. All hire charges accrue weekly and are payable by cash, cheque, credit card or direct debit.
3. We require that a deposit be paid for each piece of equipment on hire. This amount is listed on our set schedule of deposit fees.
4. Deposit refunds will be sent to the client’s specified address via cheque within 5 working days for clients whose payments are made via Cash, Cheque or Direct Debit.
5. All equipment should be returned to the original place of hire. Able Rehab can deliver, set up and pick up equipment if required. This service attracts additional charges.
6. We check all equipment to ensure that it is clean and in safe working order prior to releasing it for hire. It is therefore a requirement that all equipment hired is returned in the same condition and cleaned thoroughly. If equipment is returned unclean further charges will apply.
7. Besides reasonable wear and tear attributed to normal use, any damage to equipment will be charged for, and deposits paid may be forfeited.
8. Repairs are not to be conducted on any of our equipment without prior consent from an authorized member of Able Rehab staff.
9. We reserve the right to cease a hire period without notice should:
(a) Hire account payments are not being made
(b) Equipment is being neglected or used in an unsafe manner
(c) Any of the ‘Terms and Conditions’ of Hire are breached in any way
